NSPGI 2012 will take place at one of Atlantic Canada’s premiere golf destinations – Glen Arbour Golf Course, Halifax.
The name Glen Arbour is taken from the Scottish to mean "a valley of trees" - the perfect name for the perfect site. When famed Canadian architect and amateur golfer Graham Cooke first walked this site, he knew he had a chance to create a spectacular golf course. His vision has become Glen Arbour which boasts natural lakes, streams and mature forests with significant elevation changes. These elements make Glen Arbour a premium golf experience.
The course meanders through the valley crossing several streams and proceeds adjacent to three very distinctly different lakes. Each hole is very different from the one before - all diverse and all memorable.
The round culminates with what has become our featured hole, the 18th a 565 yard downhill par 5. A two shot hole with a great vista of the valley, sandy lake and the clubhouse. What a way to end a perfect day.
